It started to make some people's skin crawl and they don't play it as often. It's still there and still being played...

It got old. I used to DJ at a country dance club 3 years ago and i'd get requests for it though i rarely played it because only about one or two people would do it out of nostalgia which oddly enough i'd play the old as dirt Electric Slide and Fever (Bellamy Brothers) and people would come out of the woodwork.

Country dance club people are strange. I learned to DJ at techno clubs where the dj doesn't talk and mixes everything at country clubs you don't mix and have to arrange the music by type of dance.

What do you mean"what happened to it?" Nothing happened to it as far as I know. I hear it frequently down here in our venue......KSCS Dallas Texas.
