I would say that Gattuso did some wonderful things in the game but it HAS to be Buffon. Especially since it came down to goal kicks at the end.

I would say that it is Gianluigi Buffon. He's the goalkeeper after all. And, if he didn't make those amazing saves from the penalty shootout in the final game, Italy wouldn't have become the world champions.
