The beverage does not matter with perhaps 1curious exception. Oral contraceptives are hormones and hormones are metabolized in the liver. Any food, beverage, or medication that alters liver function may alter the blood level of birth control pills. Grapefruit juice is such an example although it is true that you would have to consume unusual quantities to affect your pills. One other thought - you do not wish to become pregnant - but have you considered the risk of disease? Please use a condom.

yes. but don't drink too much that you forget to take the pill -andWhile alcohol has no direct effect on the birth control pill's ability to prevent pregnancy, drinking it can indirectly decrease the pill's effectiveness if it interferes with a woman's ability to take the pill at approximately the same time each day or if it causes her to throw-up shortly after taking the pill.

Anything but alcohol. Alcohol lessens the effectiveness of the pill.
I take mine with milk. It takes away any nausea.

You can take it with whatever drink you want. The key to birth control is to take it the same time each day.
