Are you serious? Mariah Carey is a Diva! She is on a different level then Rihanna. They shouldn't even be in the same sentence! Rihanna can sing but she has a long way and I mean looooong way to go to be where Mariah is.

Mariah Carey for sure Rihanna is just a fad like Jessica Simpson and Brittany Spears Mariah Carey has been around and will stay around until she dies just like Whitney Houston. No matter what stupid decisions they make their voices are good enough to overcome that.

Why do you people answer if you don't care or don't know anything about the subject?
If you mean song quality, they both suck. (Mariah was awesome in the '90's) But Mariah Carey wins hands down in the better singer category. Have you heard her range? She can hit notes two octaves above middle C without going into a falcetto voice! The only person that comes close to rivalling that is Christina Aguilera.
