i hug my family, friends, and pets. when i hug someone it shows that i care and love them. when i am down i hug someone so i know they are there, and care for me. i also hug when i am just plan happy. sometimes i just feel like a hug and really don't have any other reason then that. to me a hug means many different things. i like a hug over a kiss any day but that's just me

I usually always hug family members, close friends & maybe even people I meet ( if they're a friend of a friend or something like that ) ... I even kiss the close ones like grandma & grandpa .. mommy & daddy ... I hug people to show how much I love them & you never know when you're not going to see them next time ... my boyfriend died in a car accident last year & it felt so good to know the night before he died I gave him a huge kiss & a hug and told him I loved him ... a hug can mean sooooo much ... !

I'll hug anybody I care about like friends and family because it's a way to show affection to somebody and that you care about them. A hug is a nice thing. Other than that reason it's probably a learned behavior.
