Ok, so I'm pretty certain that I'm depressed. I also find myself infatuated with a girl that I do not find physically attractive. Is this common with people who are depressed?

our life is strange
u can say that our life is a mix between happy and sad
quiet and nervous
nothing remain forever u will find ur self depressed one day but believe me in another day u will smile again because nothing stay forever
i am sure u just put in ur mind that u depressed but actually u r not
u just think about that
just live ur life normally and smile for it

One dosn't have to do with the other. 1st depression- this can be normal at times depending on what is happening in your life the best thing to do is see your family doctor and discuss your concerns. 2nd- attraction can be mental or physical, obviously if you are infatuated with someone then you are attracted to her in some way and in a true relationship physical attraction really means little. If you are attracted to someones personality and emotionally then you will find them attractive physically as well otherwise it is not a true attraction.

First of all you should NOT diagnose yourself... you should really seek medical attention, because you may not be depressed. Alot of illnesses mimic depression, such as hyperthyroidism. Now you are finding that you are "infatuated" with a girl you find unattractive... What do you mean by infatuated? Are you attracted to her sexually or are you becoming a stalker?

you dont have to like someone in a physical way to be infatuated with them. Enjoy her company depressed or not, you dont have to have a relationship with her.
Not sure if it has to do with being depressed.
