Help! I need a new makeup foundation. I know that cheap foundations that contain oils, and talc are bad for the skin, and clog pores. I’ve been using Revlon Colorstay Foundation for 7 years since high school because it was the only makeup I could afford. But it is sooo bad for my skin. I have been using glycolic acid products to help with my oiliness in my face. No matter now much I improve my skin, my makeup is currently bad. Now that I am financially stable, ARE THERE ANY OTHER FOUNDATIONS OUT THERE THAT ARE GOOD FOR THE SKIN AND STILL BE A MEDIUM TO FULL COVERAGE MAKEUP?

I need a new makeup foundation that:

1. Helps with my VERY VERY oily skin
2. Doesn’t unlarge my Large pores (BE mineral makeup looks very bad on me)
3. Helps with my Blotchiness
4. Matches my Yellow/Olive/Tan shade skin
5. Long lasting so I don’t have to retouch my face from meetings to meetings. (I would love for my blush and eyeshadow to stay on my face longer than 3 hours.)
6. Doest break me out

WOW you sound like me--oily skin, large pores, acne prone, odd skin tone...
My favorite products come from Sue Devitt's line. it's all natural (but not that mineral crap) and is good for your skin. I like her 70% triple seaweed gel foundation. It's very light and looks EXTREEMLY natural and not-cakey, but still gives good coverage.

For oily skin, I use biore shine control moisturizer before I put on my make-up. it helps my face not get "muddy" throughout the day.

Also, make sure your skin care regimen is solid and that you are taking good care of your skin on a regualar basis--use GOOD soaps, products, and treatments. Some of the cheap stuff works, but don't always get the cheapest thing! you only have one set of skin, take good care of it while you can!

I understand your pain! I have oily-prone/blotchy skin myself and I have been searching for the perfect foundation for years. I highly recommend mineral makeup for your skin, regardless of what others might say. L'Oreal recently came out with Bare Naturale, a mineral powder foundation. It works really great and provides full coverage. If you want it to stay on the entire day I recommend brushing a few layers on. It literally makes your skin look flawless. I hate liquid foundation, it ALWAYS makes me break out and if I don't break out from it then the coverage is terrible. Bare Naturale will last for hours and is so lightweight you'll forget you're wearing makeup!!! Before applying I recommend a moisturizer and/or serum. Chanel makes a great serum to control oil--- it works magnificently! Best of luck to you!

In addition to trying Clinique's foundations, try their Pore Minimizer. I have to use it in summer and it is fantastic for keeping the oil at bay. And, if you need it, you can very carefully apply it over your foundation. Good luck; having oily skin or dry skin isn't a lot of fun.

Try Clinique...they have a variety of colors that matches your skin. I have very oiky skin too and it does help alot! I would also have you use the Biore Shine Stop Moisturizer before applying the Clinique powder foundation and compact. That works wonders for me! Also, use blotting tissues to blot throughout the day..or if you want to save some money, use paper towel.
I like BE, but it bought the wrong color, but it sort of helps...
:o)
good luck!

Try Prescriptives. I have sensitive oily skin too and I love that foundation. Its a little pricey, about $35-$40 but so worth it. They also custom blend shades for you. Another good brand to try is MAC.

ok that's a problematic one to respond to as absolutely everyone has their personal fave make up and is attentive to what works for them. human beings have many diverse pores and skin sorts and so what matches some human beings wont others. the perfect project you may do is e book in to a clinique counter. they have extremely experienced dermatologists who can verify your pores and skin form and hit upon a product it fairly is nice for you. They inventory over 500 diverse sorts/hues and they'll discover you a journey. tell them what it must have and get a pattern that you'll attempt at living house. remember lighting fixtures is really severe in shops and it can look really diverse contained in the authentic sunlight hours. a competent representative provide you with this. Clinique is through no means the most inexpensive for sale yet they are the perfect experts outside of a dermatologist place of work and their product is lengthy lasting and of wonderful. you may also frequently get a present with purchase in case you verify the various shops modern-day can provide. i wish this facilitates you.

It has great coverage especially the conceler. Try it! There is a 100% satisfaction gurantee...so if you don't like it, you get your money back! It took a few times for me to match my shade but my consultant came to my house and we just kept playing until we found something.

I have your problems! I have searched and used just about everything and here's what I've discovered. DERMA BLEND COSMETICS has a foundation that covers so completely you'll think you had a skin resurfacing! Go to HSN.com then to Cosmetics then to DERMABLEND COSMETICS and look for the compact.( they also sell kits (which I buy because it contains the setting powder, brush,etc...) Hope you like it -I know that you will! LOL

I really like Lumene. I used to use Chanel which was perfect, yet expensive, but they discontinued the product I was using. However, my skin is dry, so you may want to check out Chanel as I found the product too dry for me, but may be great for you.
