I'm not. But then again male and female aquarians may be different from on another. Also, it depend on if the person is a true aquarian or if he's closer to one of the other 2 signs. And then the year he was born may also play a role. So...it's a bit more complicated than just basing it off of a sign.

I think it depends on the Aquarian. My mother is very emotionally distant in her relationships. It's an Aquarian trait to be aloof and emotionally distant. However, if the Aquarian in question has a really good Moon or Venus placement, chances are that they will be a little more emotionally giving than your typical straight Aquarius. My mother, for example, has an Aquarius sun and an Aquarius moon. So she definately has the Aquarian emotions.

I do need my own space though and need to go off on my own every once in a while. Aquarians are very social too and like lots of people around them and encourage situations where they can have lots of friends etc and will like to be in the centre of things - can seem distant from loved one as they will try to engage everyone

I wouldnt say they are all distant but they have their reserves that are off limits to others. I have had to friends who are aquarius and ive known them for 15 + years each. I am an aquarius as well..and my boyfriend is kind of distant and quiet and I like him that way because I also like my space and could not last with someone who was always in my face or if I felt restricted by them in anyway it would not work out.

Prior to my marriage, I was in a relationship with a terrific Aquarian for 5 years.
He was intelligent, articulate, handsome, ambitious, and a great lover.
However, there were areas of his life that were absolutely out of bounds to me. There were questions he would not answer and areas of his past that he would not share. As I later found out, there was nothing sinister about anything in his past but he simply did not want to discuss those things which caused him past pain or were not part of his present situation.
The bad news was that although he loved me, he was commitment-phobic and I eventually had to push the envelope and move on.

I dated one in HS for 8 months he was not distant at all..Until the end of course. Everyone is different you can't base everything on someones zodiac sign
