I assume you mean pentium 4 in a PC. Simple answer: NO An Apple OS will only work in a Mac. (Windoze, UNIX, etc. stuff will work in a Mac however!) If it is a Mac with a G-4 (rather than a Pentium 4) You will need more RAM. (at least 512 Meg and preferably 1 Gig or more) Tiger will work with 256 Meg, but that is marginal. If you want to get away from Windoze, you need to go with a Mac. G-4, G-5 or new Intel version will handle Tiger with no problems. G-3 will work, but will be awfully slow.

in case you have the unique mac osx cd *tiger, panther and so on you in simple terms could in simple terms format the laptop. Backup all your data and save on with those steps: To reinstall Mac OS X (all variations) on your laptop, insert your Mac OS X application d61f837cad1d412f80b84d143e1257D (disk a million) or DVD into the d61f837cad1d412f80b84d143e1257D or DVD stress and restart your laptop jointly as protecting down the [C] key. as quickly as the laptop starts off up from the d61f837cad1d412f80b84d143e1257D or DVD, the installation window looks.
