I doubt they will stop making Bond movies now that they are remaking the old ones.

I don't want Bond movies to stop, but they need to have better writers to draw the true fans back into the cinema.

The classics were well done and had you wondering if James would survive, now a days you know straight of that he would get the girl, blow up the car and not have a hair out of place while killing the baddie.

Some of the stuff the writers are trying to pull off is stupid. In 'Licence to Kill' they didn't think we'd notice if Felix Leiter was suddenly black and in 'Goldeneye' there's a 006, Alec Trevelyan played by Sean Bean, when he's supposed to be off active duty having been shot in a previous movie.

So, if Bond movies are just going to be remake after remake of the classic British film then I think they should finally let 007 retire.

As long as they keep making money the producers will keep making them, actors will always want to play bond or be his lady and warnings need to be out there that evil dictators need to be overthrown, terrorists killed, despots annihilated and evil states liberated so we can all get sucked into the propoganda the government likes to spread through the movies!

The junior James Bond novels by Charlie Higson are next...

Nope, in no way. that's a brilliant money device, and that i heavily doubt that the studio is attempting to end the franchise. They even rebooted the franchise, with the aid of fact it grew too previous.or maybe there will be new James Bonds contained sooner or later, after Daniel Craig retires from the situation.

Casino Royal was the last book not to have been made into a movie, even thogh it was the first book to be written. More movies will be written but the quality has certainly been decreasing for ten years. Plus, the new bond is rubbish. Bond is supposed to have dark hair. I am not being pedantic, dangerous is assertive.

Ian Flemming actually stated on his death bed that James Bond must eventually die.
It was either him or Albert R. Broccoli, producer of most James Bond Movies.
In fact I think it was Albert R. Broccoli. His children now continue his work, & he asked them to eventually end James Bond.
If he did, people will probaly jsut make prequels or something stupid like that...

It should have quit while ahead but it is such a big money spinner that they will drag it on year after year - people will still go. I thought the kite-surfing scene in the last one killed the whole thing (badly filmed in a studio and he was superimposed on it). My fav was Octopussy.
