Your old friend is probably feeling betrayed by you. She thought that she was doing a good thing by being nice to the 'new girl' and in turn has lost her best friend.

you probably need to make it known that she still means as much to you as before and that you dont want another person to come between you. Good luck and let me know what happens

It requires a big heart to keep quiet even when you are friendly with somebody else when your friend for the last two years is with you. You might be ignoring her or she feels ignored and unsecure about your frienship. Try to convince her or make a choice between the two.

Maybe she does not like u guys joking on her so she feels unconfortable . Even ur good friends that u shall not joking on them,Because sometimes good friend hurt u even u know he/she does not mean it but it's still hurt .Ask her "did u hurt u because I was playing joke on u? "and if she says so u shall say sorry to her!

try to talk to her when your new friend isn't around and see what the problem is. if it's the new friend, try to plan something where all of you can be together and give them a chance to get to know each other and perhaps your old friend will come around.

I think you should sit her down one more time and try to explain to her that her behavior is concerning the both of you. Try to explain to her that she needs to open up to you or try to get some help, and let her know that your friendship is in jeopardy. If she doesn't get it, then you might have to say bye to that friend.

is she just your friend or lover?
may be she has some feelings towards you.
she is not able to bear that someone may get you off from her.
if she loves you then think abt it in that way.
you should choose the best of the two....

is something bothering her? maybe something is goin on with her? do u seem more intune with this new friend than with her now? she might be jealous?

maybe YOU should talk to her alone, the other girl MIGHT be the problem...
