is there any age limit for infatuations to happen? what actually are they n how long do they normally last?

No limits at all. To be infatuated means to be smitten with someone or something. There's no telling how long it can last, either - sometimes a week, sometimes ten years. But infauations can occur in anyone and are totally normal.

Not at all. I'm in my 50s and I still get the occasional "school boy crush". It's a just a sudden powerful reaction to someone, for whatever reason, and rarely lasts long. I normally just ride it out, it's fun, but nothing I'd actually act on.

Not for me. Much to my surprise,I recently fell for a lass 30 years younger. I'm 62.
I decided not to follow up on this as I did not wish to cause her any discomfort.
