Something perhaps they should have thought of BEFORE they invaded.
Oh yea and Bush LIED about that. There was no connection between Iraq and al-Qaeda until AFTER we invaded.

The war on terror is not a war in the conventional sense. There will be no cease fire, And no withdrawl of troops as long as terrorists exist. There is No Easy Answer....As far as Iraq is concerned, continually playing an occupying police force won't get us anywhere, So now we are phasing in the people of Iraq to govern, and police their own country. In a way that is victory. Now I say we pull out, set up shop in Kuwait, and wait until the fireworks are over.

We don't have to win in Iraq. We can pull out and let the Iraqis handle it. They will fight until they wipe each other out. This has been going on for centuries so what makes it so different now?
America will definitely pull out of Iraq in 2007 and leave the mess behind. They should put Saddam back into power (only kidding) and he would clean it up. He would kill all of the insurgents and keep Iran out.

There is already a civil war going on. When the Bush administration toppled Iraq, they pulled the cork out of the bottle that suppressed the civil war between the Sunni's and the Shia.
These people over there do not want us over there, the US illegal occupation is creating more terrorists and in Al-Queda's mind, more justification to kill Americans.
The issue is, Georgie hasn't secured the oil over there yet, and doesn't have his grubby little fingers on a share of it. That's why he doesn't want to pull out. It's all about the oil, don't let anyone fool you.

I think it would be prudent to acknowledge that there already is a civil war in Iraq. There is no winning a war on terror. That is the most expensive and delusional proposition I have heard in my life. See also war on drugs, war on poverty, war on illiteracy, war on illegal immigration...

I say the Muslims over there are doing a pretty good job of taking out each other. They have made it clear they do not want us over there. I say sit back, way back and let them continue to kill each other. That means less to come over here and kill us. The whole region is filled with short sighted ignorant people who just want to kill. I say let them have at it!!!
