i have always wondered why the easter bunny carries eggs since he doesnt lay eggs? anyone know the reason the easter bunny carries eggs??

Eggs are a symbol of fertility as is the bunny. Spring, a time of rebirth for the Christian's and a time of birth for the rest of us.

Those aren't really eggs. And there's a reason they look like chocolate.
Seriously, eggs symbolize fertility. Easter is in the spring, and the very fertile bunny, with eggs mimics the pagan fertility rites.

hmm. idk. maybe he steels them from mr. chicken. or better yet maybe.....he is married 2 a chicken who gives him the eggs!!
