i just bought an outfit, most of which was on clearance, and i'm wondering if it's still in style. a pair of black leggings, a black cowl neck sweater that comes down below my hips, and i bought a pair of leg warmers to go with it. i was looking for a belt that i could kinda wear at an angle, and a big pair of hoop earrings. what do you think. if you think it's cool what kind of shoes or boots should i wear with it. oh yea, if you read my profile, yea i enjoy femininity :)

haha - I keep finding your questions and I'm starting to recognize which person you are based on your questions... :) The outfit sounds pretty 80's but if you feel good in it then go for it. I don't know about the leg warmers though with the leggings and the big sweater....yes, 80's are in...but you also don't want to look like you saved up the outfit from the 80's.. know what i mean? good luck!

Leggings are definately a rage accessory right now and it's a "thumbs-up" to pair it with a long sweater, just as long as it doesn't look like a knitted blanky from your grandma you decided to hide in. I would say no-go on the leg warmers, that's just me- but I would pair it with a high loose or tight boot depending on the look you're going for- and snug that belt up to your waist, low waist belts aren't the "in thing" anymore.

I think the 80's style is coming back in. I saw leggins for sale in metrostyle catalog (formerly Lerner) and the cowl neck as well. However, I have not seen any leg warmers. If you like it and want to wear I say go for it! Be you for you and not someone else's opinion of what is in or out

Leggings and belted sweaters are VERY in style right now. The leg warmers and hoop earrings may be a bit much, probably one or the other is enough. Wear ballet flats definitely! Try the Gap or even Payless Shoes for a pair of black ballet flats. :)

I think this is the idea:

I personally never found this fashion at all attractive... I don't mean to start a fight, its just my thoughts... I heard many men say that they find it to be very unbecoming... I personally wear alot of skirts, they make me feel like a woman, I feel flirty, and beautful in a great calf length flowy skirt, and salsa skirts, oh love them!!!

so if you like it, girl, go for it... I tend to not always follow strictly whats "in" at the moment.. i do look at it, and sometimes wear it, but i like having my own style, something catchy, but not sluty! I like to feel comfortable but look slammin! its all in what you feel about how you look! if you feel confident and comfortable in your skin and your outfit, then everyone will think you look great... its the girl behind the style that people like best!!!

Men find a woman who looks happy and comfortable and confident to be the most attractive... i had a guy tell me he thought I was the most attractive woman he had seen all day... guess what i was wearing?! a sweatshirt, and fun jean skirt, my hair was in a messy pony tail and i had mascara and lipgloss on... but he said he finds cutsy/comfortable and a smile to be the greatest thing a girl could be, that way he can imagine himself cuddling with her on a couch... its hard to imagine getting cozy with a women who looks uncomfortable and overdone!!!

:) its all in how you work it!!!
