Since you asked this in the Marriage & Divorce category, I assume you are married. So, the advantage is sex on the side. The disadvantage comes when your husband finds out. Don't get one.

Advantage, you have someone to talk with hang out with, have fun with. Someone to care about you and enjoy things with. This is if you have a good relationship. If you don't well those things may take a back seat to the arguing etc. Disadvantage, you must consort with someone else when making plans, you don't have as much freedom, and if you see or meet someone you like, well need I say there are restrictions. But a lot of the advantages and disadvantages depend on the bf and relationship you have. You may not have any problems with freedom with certain guys, and if you like who your with it may not matter who you see or meet that is interesting. So most important is is the guy worth trying a relationship with.

Advantage of Bf is U have a companion and u don't feel lonely and can share ur feelings,emotions,sexual desire,etc
Disadvantage of Bf is U have to report him everything.U loose ur liberty.He can party U can't.Gals be home doing household chores,guys look after the barmaids,gym,drinks etc
If U see a guy U r a taboo,u r wrong if he sees a gal he is rite its a male dominate,etc etc
There are positive traits as well negative traits.

the advantage is if you find the right gy, you'll experience a pre stage of love. slowly going into a stago of true love if its meant. disadvantage may be that you have to give up ur ways if they include clubbin, and hanging mostly with guys. it differs from man to man.

advantage- knowing someone loves you for you as a person
-having someone to share thoughts, feelings and affections with
-makes you feel all gushy and happy inside
disadvantages- guy might cheat or try to change you
-if you guys fight a lot, then you feel sad most of the time
-might feel smothered if you spend all your free time together

when you get a bf you have lots of sex, when you are with your bf for a while you have no sex life.
When you are single, you only have to care about your own feelings and not worry about some guy.
I love the man I am about to marry, but sometimes I do miss my single life
