I almost moved to Cyprus a few years ago and it's still a possibility.

Ther are the obvious advantages such as stunning beaches, the warm weather but a few others for us Brits too.

We get extra tax relief on our pensions, many other Tax perks for being a Brit, they just about all speak English, drive on the right side of the road, it just is an easy move to make.

I have some friends with businesses there too so a job is waiting for me if i ever decide to go.

I just feel as time goes on that the move is becoming closer and closer every day.

Scotland or North England. I speak southern American English so I think the language thing would work itself out, eventually. I have been an Anglophile for years and I love the rain & hate the heat. There is something charming about England having the Royal Family-all that pomp and circumstance in todays hectic got to be there 20 minutes ago society. I think it would be cool to watch them going down a street in a carriage. Sorry went down a bunny trail.

I would not leave my country unless it was seriously destroyed, by say, shifting plates, as in times past when it was being formed.

And if I did, both places I would choose would likely be gone too, namely Ireland (my line dates back there) and the IoM, a place I've lived in before, and like.

I'm too old to be forced out anyway... you don't scare easily at my age... and you don't get moved on either...so, I'll die here no matter what:-)

Barbados or Jamaica as they are both nice countries, are lovely and hot and the pace is nice and slow over there so I could just chill. I'd love to have the Caribbean Sea as my swimming pool too!

Canada. Just love the country although I would miss England. I know people moan and say its too cold and politics and blah blah but when somewhere as gorgeous as Scotland is on your doorstep, how can you complain?

I'd move to one of the Greek islands. They're beautiful, hot and the way of life is so relaxed.
