The sensible thing for people to do if they do not like question is to just ignore it. Some people who ask ridiculous and insulting questions get off on the fact that they receive abusive answers and if their questions get removed it is more of a reason for them to come back with avengeance. If they were just ignored the questioner would eventually get bored with lack of response and go and find something else to do.
Some questions are funny and just because people don't like it they should appreciate that just because it is not their taste, it might be to others.

Sometimes people report a question just for the hell of it, I had a totally innocent question removed once, just try not to let it get to you. However if a question is really offensive then people have a right to complain.

What are people supposedly complaining about? I've clicked on a question before and gotten the Yahoo response that the person who posted the question removed it. But if people are removing their own posts, this isn't a complaint (IMO).

It happened to me earlier this week - so I asked why.
Question;
How can this be so...?
...just switched on, and was told I had 'lost 12 points'. Is it something to do with answering a past question (...and been punished for my prose thereof?)

If a question is along the lines or racial, omitting desires with a child I'll report that, however, i would hope that while everyone is entitled to his or her opinion there are some things that are totally UN appropriate

yes this is a very serious issue, and yahoo dont seem to care a bit, I have asked to investigate some of these removals as long as six month ago, and besides a computer generated email that they will investigate, they have never given me another response

I have just had an answer removed.reason goven was hatred.
hatred ? it was a response to a question about the ku klux klan , designed to provoke strong and diverse opinion.
My answer was to the point and without any feeling towards anyone.
It was just removed to pander to the idiot who complained.
Yahoo needs to be careful not to get a reputation of heavy censorship . If its just about asking gardening questions no one will bother anymore.
