Do you think that Bush is handling this whole thing correctly?

Just my opinion, but I think Bush jumped the gun initially, when we swooped in to confiscate WMD that weren't even confirmed. I think the focus shifted from protecting and securing a hostile territory with many suffering people to a global pissing contest. And in the meantime, Bin Laden is practically pulling down his pants and mooning us. Its a f#cked up situation, George Bush is a terrible leader (due to his lack of leadership skills and that annoying habit he has of opening his mouth and shoving his foot in it).
Now, we have insurgents from EVERYWHERE to worry about.....it's not just Iraq and Afghanistan anymore....and here's Bush picking a fight with North Korea to boot?

And it's all about, "OMG, we can't jeopardize our OIL supply!" Gimme a break.....we've spent BILLIONS on this war...why can't we be so agressive in coming up with alternative fuels? Everybody is so fat nowdays, maybe it would do us some good to WALK to work or ride a bicycle, for christ's sake!!!

If we keep the troops there in the Middle East, it won't do any good....terrorists are like cockroaches....for every one you kill, there are 100 more you can't see. But if we bring the troops home and tell the people in that region to figure it out themselves, they'll just end up back where they started and probably start WW3 because they just can't grasp the concept of democracy.

I really wish we could bring all the troops home, close our borders to everybody, and tell the rest of the world to just leave us the hell alone. We've spent so much time dicking around with other people's problems that we have become blind to our own desperately troubled nation.

Sorry to be so long--winded....but you DID ask! lol

I don't know why everyone keeps calling it a war. The war part was over long ago, what is left is the insurgency. That was no different than in Germany after WWII, except we get daily TV reminders and the mass media is very anti Bush.

I don't think that it can be handled correctly due to so much public scrutiny. What we need to do is send in more troops to get the job done and over with. Then, they can all be home faster and safer. With more back up, less lives will be lost.

Not at all. I think they over-estimated the amount of support hat the Iraqis would give and had too rosy of a timetable
