does my husband have to pay until child is 19 or can we stop since he is 18 no one seems to know the legal age in alabama Please help

i know you have to fila a paper to stop paying it but what is the age 18 or 19 no attorney seems to know which it is

some states they pay if the child goes to college.

Age 19! It's called the age of majority and it is definately 19. I know I used to live there and have a divorce decree from the state of Alabama. And you cannot just stop paying out of the blue either, read up on the laws go to the alabama judicial court web site and do some research on this.
