Let's just say I am WELL OVER the age of 12 and I am addicted. I had the original Animal Crossing for Gamecube and played it day and night. When I first saw the game I thought WTF? What's so big about that? Well, I played it once and I was hooked! There's always something to do, it's an easy game to play (for those of us who are not video game experts) but it's also got a lot of hidden challenges to figure out. Since then I've purchased the Nintendo DS Lite specifically to get the new Animal Crossing game. I love it so far. It's great to pass the time.

Animal crossing, my friend is like crack....I say this because I'm addicted....I'm twenty years old and I've been playing the game for over a year now....I once had the D.S version but had to pawn it to pay some bills....Well any way yes animal crossing is good...it's like practice for when you grow up and have to make it in the real world....paybills, pull weeds, try not to get on your neighbors bad side....You start off with barly nothing....then work your way up from there...I would recommend it to anyone who likes sim city....

I am 30 and I play this game. I can seriously say that these animal's lives are as insane as a Mexican soap opera. I have dealt with a lot drama. Seriously though, this is a pretty smart game. I like it.

errr...I have a copy and popped it into my GC after not playing it for 3 years...the weeds were atrocious! I still jump in once in awhile when I have nothing else that interests me. I am 55. My grandkids will probably enjoy the game when they get a little bit older.

I'm 19, and love it! I don't think its a little kids game. It's so addicitve and cute and theres always things to do and new furniture to collect, friends to make etc. Plus it goes by real-time and it is a little like Harvest Moon, but more expansive.

I enjoyed the Game Cube version for a long time, but it got very tedious. It runs in real time, and its hard to play at the right time every single day.

My wife plays it on her Ds and is 32. But she has bad taste in computer games if you ask me.
Her and my 11 and 4 year old have link up things on there.
Personally I think the game is rubbish.

Errr. I'm old and play. Makes me feel a little creepy sometimes though when I have kids visiting me, even though it is just a character entering my DS.

I have Harvest Moon (similar) on PS2.
It was amusing for about an hour, maybe 3. (I'm 26)
