bank of america takes out $10. It also depends on the wealth of the city. If it is a poor city then they usually have smaller denominations.

If you go to an ATM other than your own banks, you will be charged not only a fee from the ATM, but also a fee from your bank. That wouldn't beto your advantage. Since you have only $14.75, why not just go into the bank and close out the account that is affiliated with the debit card? Doing that, you will get your entire $14.75. IF THIS DEBIT card is like one of those gift cards, it makes it more difficult to receive the cash for it. I guess you can always go out and purchase something for $14.75 then turn around and return the item. Just be certain you have your original receipt! Good luck! (BTW, maybe, if it is a debit gift card, maybe you can ask a friend to buy it for the $14.75 for cash)!! You bring in a bank ATM, the balance is going to get partially ate up in fees!

My bank ATM has 20's, 10's and 5's. Call your bank and ask. The 4.75 might be a little tricky though. Can you just go to the bank branch and do the withdraw?

bank of america does $10 denominations, also, if you go to walmart, you can select the cash back option at the checkout and get the difference

I would just buy something small ( like gum) at a store and get cash back on my debit card; the dabit will probably charge you 2.00, tho.
