Our office exclusively uses Dell Latitudes and we've had minimal problems. They are used out in the field, sometimes even abused pretty badly, but still last.

Dell is also really good about working with you to set up your pc/laptop to your specs and for what you need. Our Latitudes come with floppy drives and cd players & burners/dvd players. I'm sure you could add a dvd burner with no problems. I'd check out the Dell site. :) I can't recommend them highly enough; we have about 102 out in the field constantly, and they work great and stand up to daily use and wear & tear well.

(be sure to go to manufacturers websites, it doesn't mean you're brand conscious...) look at hp, they have some nice screens, and toshiba; of course *all* laptops have come down alot in price but I would guess they're a little jacked up right now for the season? I'm happy with hp

I'm partial to Dell, myself.
If you're planning on video making, you're gonna need a decent video card/video making software, (plus a large hard drive) so you're looking at $1500+ right there.

i actual think of a solid journey could be a Shih-Tzu...the only component that would not journey completely is the swimming area. I actual have one and he suits all of those catagories completely. in case you do no longer purely like the long, flowy tutor hair version you are able to continuously save them with a puppy decrease (like mine) that's far less complicated to mantain. he's by no ability had any scientific probelms the two. he's organic bred. EDIT: We go away him at homestead approximately as much as you will possibly and he hasn't long gone to the restroom in the homestead on account that he grew to become right into a sprint puppy. (he's 9yrs old now) a number of the dogs under do could be walked and are anxioius to pass on walks which does no longer seem to extra healthful your standards...yet all are great dogs. EDIT: i grew to become into going to indicate a French Bulldog too yet mine is great demanding to pass on walks, likes playing for hours then will pass to sleep, they could no longer swim...they could drown in case you enable them to objective, he's great to youthful little ones and older people yet is hyper and virtually knocks them down whilst they walk in the door. yet they're lovable whilst they pass to sleep. They sleep like yet another individual with you in the mattress. they could have undesirable respiritory problems, they're very costly and characteristic gas/snore plenty...hah. I additionally agree that obtaining a puppy isn't good on your existence sort...a dogs 7-10 months or older could be terrific.

Try HP laptop. It has all of the items you listed here and it costs under $900 USD. And if you wait until Thanksgiving, there might be a big discount.
