I'm afraid you haven't given much information here. If you don't know who they are then how do you know they are personalities?
Are they Actors and Actresses? Politicions? Rock stars? In any case, there are books galore in book stores and probably on-line that would help you identify people in certain genre if you know what the Genre is. The film encylopedia, a history of television and so on. Best answer I can give you based on your statement.
