Mildew is a pain - Tilex does a great job of getting rid of it and the Tilex Daily Shower product really helps keep it at bay.
If you prefer a more natural approach, vinegar also works really, really well.
Mildew comes with humidity, though, so keep the bathroom well ventilated - open the bathroom door right after the shower and let the humidity reduce static around the house. Also, a quick wiping with a rag or a squeegee down the walls and tub will help slow down the mildew's progress.
And remember to close your shower curtain or door after you shower, so that the moisture can evaporate and not hang out in the folds (or behind the other door).
My mom used to use car wax and waxy polish for other things on the tiles in the bathroom - but if you have the new acrylic stuff in your tub or on your walls, make sure you can actually use it without ruining the finish.
Finally, keep your lights on - if your bathroom's not well lit, you may want to get brighter lighting - mildew doesn't do well in bright surroundings - keep your bathroom lights on for 10-30 minutes after you've showered or bathed.

Mild solution of bleach. Spray, soak and let stand. Wash. Works best. Maintian it periodically (once in 3 months) with the bleach solution.
Once in a while you can also spray vinegar and wash down.
