why do women put such provocative pictures of themselves on myspace? it almost seems like they are trying too?

hard to be hot. maybe guys do the same thing but im not in a position to judge that stuff. what is it about the site that brings this out in people? do people think they are movie stars or something? strange to see a "friend list" of a friend of yours and half the girls are either in bikini tops or showing major cleavage or something. whats the deal? not that i'm complaining but its sort of an interesting sociological phenomenon. give me some insight.

Real Women would not do that. Immature, misinformed young adults do. I guess they feel it is OK because all their friends do it. Kind of sad if you think about it.

When I was 14, 15, 16 ( I am now 21), I dressed and acted incredibly provocatively. Even looking back now, I am shocked at the things that I did.
I think young girls, especially those with low self-esteem are more likely to seek out gratification from their looks. I think this is for a number of reasons.
Sexuality in general is at this stage a rather new experience. Many teens including myself discover their own sexuality and may have few outlets for expressing that. I think any novel idea or activity is going to be a popular enterprise for young adults who are just starting to sort out their sense of self.

They do seem to be trying to hard.Ppl just seem to want to have as many ppl on their friend's list as if it's a competition or something.

They just do it for attention...the wrong kind of attention! THey probably don't feel good about themselves, sot he figure if they are naked, then these sleezy men will give them attention and make them feel better about themselves...its sad really.
