My family goes out for Chinese food on Christmas Day. All because of the movie "A Christmas Story". Our cousins have a traditional turkey dinner on Christmas Eve that we enjoy as well.

Did you know?
It was the custom to eat goose at Christmas until Henry VIII decided to tuck into a turkey.

93 per cent of the population in the Uk will eat turkey on Christmas Day; this means 11 million turkeys being cooked!.
I'm a vegetarian so I would have rice, curry, salad & pudding

I don't know. It's not really important to me whether I'm having turkey or something else. I might get a turkey, just to create that festive mood but, honestly, as long as I'm having something nice to eat in the company of the family, then I don't really care whether it's turkey or not. Talking about Christmas, it is becoming less and less important to me these days. I don't want to burden myself with the thought of Christmas shopping for a prolonged period of time. That's not what Christmas is meant to be.

Loads of veggies and potatoes! I'm a veggie so its my choice not to have the turkey but I can't eat wheat so i can't even have stuffing. I've got my gluten free christmas pudding all ready to go tho and this year i've even made a gluten free christmas cake too! roll on the stuff-a-thon!!
