OK. I tend to stay away from anything to do with fairies, because they're scary, but here's what I know...

Traditionally, the full court is divided in two, each with separate leaders: The Seelie and the Unseelie courts. Some fairies are always in one, while some are Seelie in the spring and summer and Unseelie in the fall and winter. Generally, the Seelie court is nicer, more harmonious faries, while the Unseelie court are the nasty little buggers that steal people away and so on. (Personally I think they're all nasty little buggers, but anyway...)

I'm not sure as to the rulers of each; I know Oberon and Titania are king and queen of a kingdom as well. I believe there are various kingdoms with the two courts present in each. That's generally English, of course; Irish fairies have a somewhat different setup in Tir na Nog and so on.
