Look up the telephone number of the Texas Bar Association. (I am assuming that as in PA they have what we call The Lawyer Referral Service). They can provide you with a low cost referral to an attorney for a consultation. You may also find in your yellow pages (as in PA) that there are display ads for attorneys who provide a free consultation on your problem. I don't think pro bono services are easily located except in some types of legal disputes (medical malpractice and injury is an area where one might find one more easily). I suggest otherwise that you get on line and look up attorneys and attempt to find one who might be interested. Good luck.

good success find a specialist bono lawyer. yet jointly as you're finding, evaluate this: have you ever heard of the criminal doctrine of "paternity via estoppel?" This doctrine won't enable a presumed father of a baby to end paying help for a baby even although that's later found out that the baby isn't his. Yeah, i comprehend it would not sound honest to the "father," yet this is the regulation of many states, which incorporate Texas. The maximum appropriate case is "In remember of Shondel J. v. Mark D." it particularly is an old ny case that set the national precedent and is taught in each kinfolk regulation direction. reckoning on the scale of time you have paid help or have been in touch in the existence of the baby, whether you may get twenty legal experts arguing your case would not remember. The regulation would not be on your area.

no lawyer is 100% pro bono. each lawyer can take a couple of pro bono cases.

try legal aid if you cannot afford an attorney.
