Do you have any tattoos? What are they, and what do they symbolize if anything? If you were to get another tattoo, what would you get and why?
(I have a small rose on my left ankle and the Chinese symbol for love on my lower back. At the time, I was going to a lot of raves and thought I loved everybody... LOL)

I put myself through college at LSU as a single mother, and I'm thinking of getting a tiny purple and gold pawprint on my hip bone to symbolize this.

I have 5.
Down the middle of my back I have a black rose; the rose of death. If you look real close in the rose you'll see a skull and it says "Rose of Death". It was my first real tattoo and I thought it was cool; plus I guess I was going through a depressed stage.
I have a Celtic butterfly on my right shoulder, and a sunburst-type design on my left breast. I also have a heart in a design on my right ankle. The last one I got about a year ago, and it's a Chinese symbol meaning strength, and it's on the back of my neck.
The next one I was planning on getting will be of a dolphin. I would get it because I have an obsession with dolphins; I think they are beautiful.= )

I have a tattoo around my upper arm. I designed and got it when i was 25 to represent who i was at a quarter of a century. It is a red and black band with a spiril, women's symbol, moon, epiphone symbol (guitar),and ying yang. It is faded due to not great ink and 3 kids (and many pounds) but i still love it!!

I have a red rose tattoo on the top of my right arm.I had it done 15 years ago and have never regetted it.I just love red roses.I want another,something with my partners name.But I don't know what or where.It's difficult,because I would like it on my shoulder,going back.But when I get married it would look cheap and tacky with a dress.

Hi, I have a dolphin on my right shoulder and a butterfly above my right ankle at the back of the leg. I love dolphins but no real significance for the butterfly just liked the design. I would like one like a celtic design ring in my thumb but my hubby is against it so that's it.

I have my mothers name tattooed on the right side of my back on the shoulder. I got it shortly after she died so she will always be with me looking over my shoulder. My next one will be a shovel with a few drops of blood it is the symbol of the yayas, A friend will hold your hair when you puke, but a yaya will show up with a shovel no questions asked. I hope that his has helped you.

I got all of mine because they represent little things about me via symbolism.
On my left wrist: Kanji -"Knowledge"
On my right wrist - Embossed style black/gray butterfly
On my nape - West African Andinkra symbol "Gye Nyame"
On My lower neck - Tribal band
On my upper right arm - The head of a panther with my name below inside of a ribbon
I plan on getting like 5 more

Yep, got 2 of 'em!!! One is scorpion on right shoulder blade, the other one I got Saturday night on my left shoulder blade and it's a butterfly with evil eyes. The scorpion is b/c it's my birth sign and it's one thing about me that will never change...the other one b/c I liked it. I will get another one when I graduate from college because it's one my 14 year old daughter drew for me, this way I will always have a part of her with me.

I have one on the inside of my left ankle. It's kind of embarrassing to talk about... it's a sign... and no i am not proud of it. I have come a long way from my past. I regret doing it... i did it myself, years ago. I am not the same person i was then...
Sometimes i think i wanna get it removed, but then other times it helps to remind me of how far gone i really was. Kind of like a reminder to keep my head up.

I have a rose with a heart going through the stem. It's on my left breast. I'm not sure if it symbolizes anything, I just like it.
