Do you like it? Do you make it yourself from a recipe (simply adding alcohol does not constitute making it) or do you use storebought?

I was at a training center in Provo during Christmas time in 1993. They filled one of the large milk dispensers with eggnog…oh what a glorious Christmas it was.
I always have bought mine, but I plan on learning to make it. When I lived in the Dominican Republic no amount of money could get me eggnog…it just didn’t exist. If I had learned to make it, I would have been a hero to every American that I knew.
It is a life skill that I will learn and pass on to my children, that many generations to come can enjoy eggnog wherever they are in the world..

I've both made it and boughten from a store. I haven't found any recipes yet that are any better than the store bought stuff. My sister buys the store bought eggnog and tops it with whipped cream and sprinkles some spices on it (I think cinnamon) and some chocolate shavings, and it tastes really good.
Eggnog is a must have for my family(with and without liquor in it). Along with sparkling cider. :)

I love it during the holidays and make it from scratch. The taste is much better since it is not as sweet. Store bought Eggnog tastes like Juicy Fruit gum which is not bad but it is so fattening.

I love egg nog on the holidays, and I buy store baught, I tried making it once well lets just say everyone stared at it and kept asking what is it?

I used to like it but my tastes, they are a changing! I don't drink it any more. Though, alot of people in my family love the stuff!
