Why do we call it a pair of knickers.... or a pair of trousers... pair of scissors..... pair of socks I understand... does anyone really have an @rse that big that would need to pull on two pairs....
I am deeply troubled by this....
And I realise that this should be posted in the knicker smelling category or similar, its just that I like you all in polls and surveys, well except Zulu9 who I barely tolerate.

What really troubles you about knickers is that you probably have a problem keeping them on!

Because they have two of everything - two blades on scissors, two legs on trousers and knickers. If it troubles you that much, take out ' a pair of'!!

Because a pair is two and knickers have two leg holes as do trousers etc.

Scissors have two blades & trousers have two legs, I get that much (sort of), but what do my pants have a pair of!
I think we need to boycott underwear until this is sorted out.

Lol. My flatmate at uni once found an enormous pair of pants which were big enough for three of us (clothed) to wear at once. They were green and cost 50p. After this experiment, we stapled them to the wall above the fireplace, like some sort of weird shrine.

My daft friend has just said it's because they have 2 holes. I'm going to put my foot up one of his.
The reason it troubles you is because...... It's a hard knock life for us, it's a hard knock life for us.....
I was going to say if we ignore Zulu9 he may go away, but where's the fun in that. He does however prove that the saying "with age comes wisdom" is just not true.
