I think they would just cause they may not sing very well on there own, they can start a band and have someone stand beside them and sing, it may help carry there voice to where it needs to go, or even just a back up singer for someone with a greater voice, I think anything is possible!

These days, its probably a requirement not to be talented.
Success in the music business mainly depends on the amount of publicity stunts you do. With a bit of training, anyone can sing as good as the top pop stars.
Talented singers are less likely to want to resort to using publicity stunts and therefore have less success.

Well, I would tend to say "No" since a singer should know how to sing, but based on some of the crap for sale in music stores today, you may still have a chance.

I've seen movie stars who can't act, heard singers who can't sing, I'd say talent isn't really neccessary. As long as a few people find you good looking, you'll do fine. Sad but thats how the entertainment biz is!
