This show consist of a Professional Dancer",who teaches a "Famous Celebrity" how to do dances such as Tangos and Salsas. There are usually 3-4 contestants,competing to see who's the best,and there is some sort of prize available.They can really dance up a storm!. The costumes are colorful,and very sexy!. The dance moves are incredible. You should check it out! I think you'll like it.

I don't know what the hype is all about but the show features famous people. Most are in television, movies, sports or the half forgotten. They are then teamed up with real ballroom dancers. The dancers have a week to teach their partner a new dance step. They do the fox trot, waltz, mambo, samba and other types of dancing. They are judged by three people, who I think are real ballroom dance judges. Then who ever gets the least amount of votes at the end of every other show has to go home. Basically it is a watch this person fall on their face trying to dance or be surprised that you know who is so graceful. I hope this clears it up a little for you.

Dancing with the Stars, is precisely that. Celebrities dance with professional partners. Each week, there are different dances, and each couple is scored by a panel of judges, and then the audience is asked to vote. The scores are added together, and the couple with the least votes leaves the show.
If you like to watch dancing you will probably enjoy the show. My problem with it, is that is seems be a popularity contest and not about who can dance the best.This current season is a prime example, the best dancer did not win. It seems that if you have a nice smile, choose easy routines, and have a flashy partner that does all the work you can win.
Oh well, c'est la vie!

It's all about the movie stars, or the singers or what ever star that's on the t.v or radio they team up with a professional dancer, and they get trained to dance diffrent kind of dancers. The judges dont judge the professional dancers they just judge the star's so all the stars are competing against each other basically. They have all lind of stars such as Vivica A fox., Jerry springer, man from 98%, football players and so on it's so good you should try to watch it the next time it comes on.

The hype is to see someone that is famous for one particular thing make a fool of themselves trying to dance.....

Another in a long line of "Idol takeoffs". Not my cup of tea, too many reality shows on these days and I have never gotten into the CSI thing so I guess there is not much left for me on TV...until the season premiere of The Sopranos...YES!!!!

a professional dancer and a celeb are partnered together and the dancer teaches the celeb to dance it is great i go 2 my friends house after skool to watch it
