You don't want to risk a do-it-yourself job on something as important as a wedding dress. Take it to a reputable cleaners (do NOT go to Dependable- they have ruined several things of mine that meant a really lot to me!!) and explain the situation to them. They will probably have just the thing to get it out safely. Dry cleaners work on wedding dresses all the time. They specialize in cleaning the dresses after the wedding and packing them in nice keepsake boxes to prevent them from yellowing. If a dry cleaner can get red wine stains and probably cake frosting stains out of a wedding dress, cat pee will be no problem!

Isn't polyester machine washable?? Try some of the new stuff life a Tide pen, try a dry cleaners, try the new dryer stuff Dryel. If it is machine washable try scrubbing the spot your self. Then buy the cat a bigger, better and cleaner cat box.

Rinse it with vinegar immediately to get rid of the odor before it sets it. Rinse it well and then get it dry cleaned. Good Luck.
