Don't worry about it anyway cuz you aren't supposed to have sex for 6 weeks after giving birth. Actually, they will tell you to do your kegel exercises too. Yes, your muscles will be looser, but they will go back to "normal" Remember, your body does change after having babies. Also, its the same thing with just having sex...if you have sex a lot, then your muscles will be looser. I can tell that mine "tiighten" if I haven't had sex with my boyfriend for like 1 or 2 weeks.

Well I had my baby through c-section. Which does'nt effect that area. If you have the baby vaginally and you become a little stretched they sometimes will put in a few stitches. Oh by the way a lot of doctors are letting women have elective c-setions. I had the epideral with mine and stayed awake so i got to see and hold the baby when she was born. There a few not so great things about the c-section. First of all it's surgery and there is a recovery time, and they make you drink this antacid pre-surgery(and it's really gross plus i vommited it all up during surgery) , the last thing is I got to so the baby for just a minute once they sewed me up you have to go to recovery for an hour or until your stats go back up. No matter what you go through having a baby is a wonderful thing and takes away any pain and not nice perks it brings. Oh plus your not aloud to have realtions for 6-8 weeks after the baby is born anyway so your body will have time to heal, And trust me on this one after you have kids your sex life will never be the same. But still worth it. Hope you get whatever you want. and good luck.

I have had 2 children vaginally and I am not loose. I even had to have episiotomis done with both. I always have been faithful to the kegel exercises, so that might help. So from my own experience I can tell you, I do not think anyone would become so loose as to fit a hand in there.

I have had three vaginally. Of course you are not going to be like you were when you were a virgin but our bodies are made to have babies and everything will be OK.. Do Kegal exercises.. that makes the muscles down there stronger. If you are seriously worried about that maybe you should wait til you have a child..
Good luck with whatever you decide..

As long as you wait the 6 weeks after childbirth, everything goes back to pretty much normal. After 2 children, I cant tell that big of a difference in "looseness". It really shouldn't matter though. If it does get loose you can always soak in vinegar...

You will be a little looser than before right after giving birth. In order to get back to your "normal" size, then you can do kegels. Actually, if you start doing kegels now before you get pregnant, then your muscles will strengthen and it will be easier to get things back where you want them. You can do a search on kegels online and learn all you want to know about them.
Keep in mind, women have been having children for millions of years and the female body is made for this. Everything will go back to normal over time with a little work and patience.

i have had one child and had a vaginal birth and i was worried about stretching to much that it would be too wide for a penis but i must say i have not noticed the difference. Sex still feels the same. I think thats an old wives tale

After having a baby your supposed to abstain from sex for six to eight weeks. In that time your vaginal walls should tighten back up to just as tight or a little tighter than before you had the baby.

there are exercises called kegal exercises you can do during and after pregnancy to tighten the vaginal muscles. they can be done simply by stopping and holding your urine while you are urinating. or anytime during the day hold the muscles in for 10 seconds at a time and this will greatly help any looseness that occurs after delivery.

I have always heard the joke "Hey doc, put another couple stitches in". Har Har sooooo funny. Honestly - I told the doctor to not even bother stitching it up because it was waaaay to tight already.
Hung like a stallion!!!
