Then right before I tipped over, a love interest called me and awoke me from the dream. Can anyon tell me what this may mean?

it means you gt woke up. Dreams mean nothing except what your mind is thinking when you are asleep.
I dreamt i had sex with a neighbor last night. What does that mean? Nothing! We are both married!

In your dream you were on the the edge of a spiritual journey, not necessarily a huge one, the quality of the boat can give more insight into that. The fact that you had forknowledge means you may have put yourself in this predicament fully understanding the consequences. You are expecting to drown but you don't get to the point of drowning. Drowning would mean you are immersing yourself too much in something spiritually related. However, you don't actually start drowning in the dream , you simply expect it.

If you are the sort of person to link your spiritual feelings closely with your romantic feelings (love comes in many forms) then this may be the beginning of a new phase in a relationship that you have accepted "drowning" in.

Also, as someone else mentioned a drowning can be a step towards a rebirth as well.

Take a deep look at any major changes that you have set yourself up for. You're not doing the tipping but you probably put yourself in that boat.

Im not a licensed psychologist or anything but I've been known to read dreams fairly well. From what you described, I assume your dream means obviously something along the lines of death and/or your fear of drowning if you do have said fear. It could either mean you've gotten rid of your' fear of drowning or you're no longer afraid to die. That would be my guess. Like I said..just a guess. And by the way, that 4x4 guy is completely wrong. Dreams are a window into your' subconcious. They are a way of working through fears and problems. Dreams are something that will always tell you your feelings and fears and such even if you cant quite grasp them in your concious state. Every single dream you will have in your entire life will mean something, even if that something is completely trivial.

Dreams of drowning or struggling in treacherous waters may represent your fear of being swallowed by forces hidden in the depths of your unconscious. You may be proceeding too quickly with your opening of the unconscious. It may be helpful to talk your problems and fears through with a friend. They may be able to throw you a lifeline and help you 'keep your head above water'. The dream also shows how you are being overwhelmed by your emotions. You may fear sinking financially or be drowning in your difficulties. Do you feel that, in waking life, you are being 'sucked into' something you would rather not be a part of? Pause for a while and make sure you have your 'feet firmly on solid ground' before you make any major decision.

Water is a symbol of purification. If you're at the point in your dream where you know you're going to drown and then someone calls you and you wakeup, it sounds like there's someone in your life that's moving in the opposite way than you are. For example, you may want to go to church and perhaps take someone special with you, but they are not interested in going. So you're in the middle trying to weigh this out. If this is the situation, then you need to pray about it and do what's best for you. Good Luck!

It means that you have a lot on your mind and your overdoing it. So before your boat tips over and you drown with your emotions, problems or having to much to do. SLow down and get everything in order and your love interest is your savior. Just do what you ahve to do and enjoy the day with him. SO be carefull slow down and smell the roses. Life is like lunch, you eat your food one bite at a time and you life life one day at a time

To dream that you are drowning, signifies that you are overwhelmed by emotions or repressed issues that is coming back to haunt you. You may be proceeding too quickly in trying to discover your unconscious thoughts and therefore must proceed more cautiously and slowly. If you drown to death, then is refers to an emotional rebirth. If your survive the drowning, then a waking relationship or situation will ultimately survive the turmoil.

Drowning or falling are both common anxiety dreams. They indicate that you are subconsciously anxious about something and that you are trying so hard to process it at night that you are creating images of helplessness and "extinction".
