what are/were the factors of production/comodities of china today and way back around the 1950's ?

well, as china's population is expanding out of control..the "closed door" economy policy that was implemented by china in the earlier days was no longer able to support the citizens..therefore in the earlier 1990's the open up their country for foreign investment..it is now having one of the fastest rate of growth of wealth through out asia...
the main fctor is because the communist government in the country was no longer able to support it's citizens living..
