Of course they can. You would still be considered a virgin even if your hymen gets broken. The only way you won't be considered a virgin anymore is if you have sexual intercourse.

Now, if you are worried about it hurting, stick with a smaller size. They have tampons out there that are made for teens that are a lot smaller than the big jumbo super ones.

What other types of tampons are there besides vaginal tampons? And I used them for years before I lost my virginity, so I don't see why not.

Of course they can be used by virgins. And they are used by both virgins and non virgins.

Inserting a tampon into your vaginal opening does not break your hymen. And even if it did, just having your hymen broken isn't vaginal sex (inserting a male penis into the vagina), which is what's needed to be considered a non virgin.

Yes, virgins can use tampons.

I started using them when I was a virgin. It's NOT possible to tear your hymen with a tampon.

You give/lose your virginity via sexual intercourse by a man; no other way. Even if your hymen is torn in some way other than sexual intercourse, you're STILL a virgin.

Yes, it can. The only think to be cautious about is toxic shock syndrome, to reduce the risk its suggested to switch between tampons and sanitary pads.

In the periods women are more open in the vagina. So virgins can use tampons, but you will need the smallest size.
