my brother-in-law was arrested and used my husbond name. he got bonded out under my husbond name. once his figure prints came back they realized who he was after he got out. He has been on the run for 7 years and if my husbond gets pulled over his brothers name comes up and has to go down to the police station to give his finger prints. my question is how can we get his brother name off his recorde?

Your husband is the victim of identity theft. I would start by retaining counsel and then having the attorney contact the police department to determine what their records show. The attorney can also advise you on the procedure in Arizona for resubmission of fingerprints on your husband, so that the proper name is associated with this, and that if your husband is stopped on a traffic stop, he isn't required to prove that he isn't your brother.

For a referral to an Arizona attorney, consult your local or state bar association.

have the police station issue yoou a letter stating that he is not his brother. He will have to keep the letter on him but it isn't that big of a deal.
