Most pills have a number or a name on them. Just call your local pharmacy and they can tell you what it is and what it does.

You can go to www.rxlist.com ... go under the advanced search tab and choose "imprint code" ... now you can type in the imprint code that appears on the pill. This should provide you with several possible matches, and there is a description of the physical attributes of the pill so you'll know which one it is.

Just click on Yahoo and type in any information shown on pill, perhaps the pharmaceutical name or any type of numbers, even the color. I have done this and ultimately found what I was looking for.

There is a website that tells you what a pill is from the imprint code- Seems to only work with prescription drug imprints-
http://www.rxlist.com/interact.htm
There is also a site from the fda with info on pills-
http://www.fda.gov/cder/ob/default.htm
Don't take it !!

IN THE PDR (PHYSICIANS DESK REFERENCE) there is spicture and description of each pill ever made. ask your friendly pharmacist to show you how. takes about 30 seconds. also most pills have a code on them. DOnt expect excatasy or other illegal drugs/date rape drugs to show up

Ask the person who gave you the pill. Throw it out, it could be anything.

what did they give it to you for? If it was for good intention, well good but I wouldn't be messing around, that stuff is serious, I hope you are not experimenting or something and the answer is probably yes if you described it I think I could tell you

take it too a local pharmacy, they should be able to get online and figure it out. you also could maybe do it, but sometimes it is just easier for a pharmacy since this happens often.

Whatever it is, I wouldn't take it.
If you have an idea at all, I know Walgreens used to have pictures of the prescription medications on their website...
