When you start to get worked up try to calm yourself. Take a step back and ask yourself is this something that I should get all excited about. You want to stay away from food that has a lot of sodium and monitor your blood pressure when you get a chance. I want you to remember that hight blood pressure is a silent killer. Your body is warning you when you start to feel that way.

Exercise that is good as well.

Remain calm and exercise. Best of luck

I recommend yoga. YOu can learn to control things (like your parasympathetic nervous system) and not get worked up so much so easily. I suggest a yoga class. REally twice a week yoga class would be good and do it at home during the day. YOga contains breathing exercises which will help a lot with your problem.

What could possibly be of such importance to get yourself so worked up You certainly can have control over that by your thoughts about the circumstances. Using less sodium in your diet, staying off caffeine, and alcohol, is sound advice. Have you and your Mom thought of turning to God in prayer for help , with this problem ?
