What is the difference between Apple and Windows computers? which is better? why?

Apple essentially offers an alternative operating system to Windows.
Which is better, is honestly a matter of personal opinion. I personally prefer the sleek Apple interface, which is also great fro media files, but..... I use Windows.
The reason for that is that as Microsoft still lead the field, they give you guaranteed Windows compliance no matter what software you want to purchase or download. Even beta versions are always Windows compliant.
On the contrary, if you are using a Mac (Apple), whilst a large variety of compliant stuff is out there, you still have to check to make sure.
Maybe in a few years this won't be the case anymore and I'll switch!

Hi Just a note. Some Apple computer can now be loaded with Windows Operating System. I don't want to make any comment about Apple because I might get violent reactions from fanatics.

Apple is supposed to be better for personal use ie music, downloading, etc. Having used both, I prefer windows based when it comes to work related things....it just seems easier to use somehow.
