I live about 20km from Calella and it's not too far from Barcelona. there's a train every 20 minutes that takes about 40 minutes. The weather at the moment is quiet warm about 20oC during the day but gets chilly at night. If you're from Britain you'll probably find it warm here and won't need to wrap up that much. The only thing is that Calella is a touristic place and as such remember that it's low season here at the moment and there are lots of places which are closed.
if you really are wanting to stay in Barcelona there are plenty of reasonably priced hotels. If you want more information you can always visit the web site:www.calella.org
Have a nice trip!

the weather should be ok, warm day and cold at night, but you need to be aware there are 2 Calella's on the Costa Brava; Calella de la Costa which is very very touristy and further south and Calella de Palafrugel (?) which is much nicer to visit.

Calella will not be warm at november but it's a beautifull place these days. I like costa brava in autum and winter too. Please, be sure that you'll go to Calella de Palafrugell (wich is the nice one). Regards from Catalonia.

I am not sure about the weather and although its a nice place ,
I think its a bit far if you are flying to Barcalona , It will be a long
transfer, a friend of mine has just returned from a long weekend
to Barcalona and had a ball, it was for a 40th , said it was cold
at night, good luck.

I live in Spain and in Catalonia and the weather is great... Although I'm not sure you'll be able to swim or anything. But you will be able to sunbathe(if that's what you want).
The temperature drops down at night; from 23*C during day time, to about 10*C at night.
Have a good stay.

Yes!!! Its a little chilly if you usually live in a warm climate, but if you don't it will be perfect. The temp is usually 65 farenheit for the high and in the low 50's for the low. Occasionally rain, but mostly clear sunny skies.
