I was told the same thing when I first got my nose pierced 10 years ago on the right side. It makes no difference to me. I chose my right side because I'm right handed and so I favor my right side more. When I apply my make-up, my right eye is first to get the eyeshadow, my right eyebrow is the first to get tweezed. I'm almost positive that each morning I put my right shoe on first.
If you had a pair of jeans with a rainbow on the pocket, this girl might say, "I heard if you like rainbows you're gay."
I think most people with good common sense realize that these are myths and don't buy into the b-s.
I'm pretty sure there are still secret codes in today's society but I don't think having your nosed pierced on the right side is one of them.
I also think that it's sad that this girl cares so much of what people "think". Don't worry about people talking about you because of your nose piercing. If they didn't have that to talk about, I'm pretty sure they would find something else.
If you look at the big picture, you'll see it really doesn't matter. There is so much more in this world to be concerned about. Keep the piercing where it is.

WHAT!!!??? HAHAHAHAHAAA That stuff isn't real, this is not significant, I advise it may desire to to particular people, even regardless of the undeniable fact that it is not a accepted element, I have not have been given any theory which one is going the place, so perhaps alot of people think of i'm gay, cuz I particularly have a cartilage piercing in my precise ear! are you able to tell me?! Does that advise i'm gay?! HaHa Oh and as quickly as I laugh, this is not at you, only on the belief-approximately it being seen a real deal--precise or left?! Get it the place you choose for it! Who cares what different people think of.

I don't think so. I know that for men, having an earring in the right ear was a gay thing, but even that doesn't mean much today.
I have my nose pierced on the right side just because I wanted it there. I happen to be gay, but that has nothing to do with it. I know a few other girls with their right nostril pierced, and none of them are gay.

side doesn't mean anything. it's just what you like. Remember a few years back the right ear pierced i think it was meant you were gay? its just different. You shouldn't be worried about something as petty as an piercing because you can't tell an sexual orientation by the location of them.

Nothing MEANS your gay - except having sexual realtions with the same gender. I mean come on, you did not know that already? What you wear, how you decorate your body, how you walk - none of that determines your sexuality!

No Jenni, you sweet silly gal... =)
It doesn't mean anything, other than you preferred that particular nostril :)
Kindly tell this person to be slightly more informed before she spreads her ignorance (albeit probably quite innocent) around...we do not want people catching it!!

I think you've been in the closet for the last twenty some-odd years - literally. If that had ever been true it was in the eighties. These days it doesn't mean jack. Thanks for the laugh.
