Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo are all in on this conspiracy. What conspiracy you ask? They only make and ship limited numbers of consels to the U.S. and other countries and sale out on purpose with higher prices why? Because they want people to buy them out and to get into the hype of the "new kid" in town so to speak. I'd say wait for a while until the newness wears off on the Wii, Playstation 3, and even the Xbox 360. Also on the PS3 wait until they get better games and such and also get better controllers both plugged in and wireless with recharging craddles for the wireless controllers like a wireless rechargable computer mouse for example on all 3 systems and when Sony finally get's the rumble funciton back onto the controllers for their new PS3. Also I'd wait for the cost to drop a bit maybe a year or so. It worked for me on my PS2. Why fight the crowds and out of stocks the idea and secret is to wait a while. Start saving people. Good luck.

This is an odd question... Did you really think that Sony would just stop making PS3's?? Come on.... They'll make millions of units and sell them for years to come all around the world. Did you actually expect someone to get on here and say, "Sorry buddy, Sony sold their 400,000 US units and now they're done."
