This is difficult, and I hate to say this, but you can set up a situation and see how they react. SUCH as, ask your friend something that you ALREADY know the answer to, but act as if you dont, see if they tell you the truth or fill your head with BS. Call them up on your cell phone and tell them youre lost and need directions and see if they take the time to help you or if theyd rather watch tv. Tell them a lie about yourself thats personal and see if a RUMOR gets started by them. ACCIDENTALLY leave your wallet out where they can EASILY see it, and have part of a bill sorta sticking out of it so that its obvious theres money in it, and see if they even tell you. It sounds rude Im sure, but you may have to TEST them to be certain. We live in a world where the meaning of friendship has changed a great deal, we have shows like PUNK'd where your so called friends play embaressing games on you to see if you will get angry or freak out. And these are your 'friends'......

Real friends stick by you and tell you the truth no matter how much it may hurt you. Don't worry you'll know because you'll be able to feel real friendship. Real friends are the best thing in the world and they will be by your side always. I hope you find out who your friends are.

Real friends are the ones that don't run away when there is trouble or bad times.. They always keep you in their heart and would do for you just like you would do for them

Friends like you for who you are, regardless of your little quirks and idiosyncrasies.
They are there to share your happiness, congratulate you in your successes, join in your fun, are comfortable to hang out with.
They will commiserate with you when you are unhappy, boost your confidence when you are feeling unsure.
They will listen to you even if they don't agree with you. They may offer suggestions and advice but not be offended if you don't agree with them.
They keep contact with you.
They are not there for you just because they want something from you or just because they want to be seen with you.
There are lots of other things, but you get the picture.
You have to be a friend to them too.

those who really care 4 u.can do anything 4 u.with whom u can share everything like ur happiness and kindness.those r the people who r ur true friends.bt remember ir is always good to hv few good friends than to hv many stupid friends.

Tell them your gay, if they stick around I guess you have kewlmates, worked for me when I told my pals that, the scummy ones dissapeared well fast, when you find the good ones look after n cherish them

um see if they ask u for food and call your parents by there name not ms and mr if they laugh at your jokes and dont compliment you all the time then they are your true friends
