My hunch is no.
Despite some injury issues, he has look good when healthy and at this point, I don't think the Devil Rays could get as much as they could if he were to start 2007 well and stay healthy.
And if another team should happen to have an OF go down to injuries, that increases his value in a trade.
Finally, the Devil Rays have a long-standing reputation as being unrealistic with trades - so that will scare off a few people who were window shopping.

They have alot of young outfield talent in tampa's minor league system that is MLB ready right now, and Baldelli has proven to be VERY good, but very brittle. So, I think if a deal for Starting Pitching or quality relief pitching was put infront of them, Baldelli could be dealt. Because aside from Scott Kazmir, who will jump ship as soon as he becomes eligible to get the h*ll out of there, Tampa's pitching is as bad as any teams in MLB

I wouldn't think so but never say never. It's just like what they say about A-rod not being traded. If push comes to shove and there's a deal that the Yanks want to make well it's so long Alex.

well if they do trade him it would make alot of sense since the tampa bay devilrays don't like to pay their top talent and that's why they will continue to suck as a franchise
