Im underage so i cant respond to the beer part, but if the soda is cold in the can then i wont waste my time by pouring it. otherwise i might put some ice into a cup and pour the soda into the glass. but say im out where they're aren't any glasses, or at a friends house and they give you soda in a can and they all just start drinking out of the can (even if it's warm), so they don't offer you a glass then i would just drink out of the can

I never drink straight from the can because I heard of a boy who did his science project on what germs are found on cans. Do to storage, rat feces among other nasties is what he found. If I have a can i will wash it then pour it into a glass. Occasionally, if a glass is not available i will use a straw. But for obvious reason, I prefer a bottle in the first place. OCD much?!?!?! a little i guess..lol!!!!

I think it depends who I'm with. If I'm with good friends that I'm comfortable with, I drink directly from the bottle or can. If I'm with guests that maybe I'm not in a necessarily good/comfortable relationship with, I would probably pour the drink into a glass. You want to make a good impression to new friends or to people who aren't necessarily your friends, but your wife's or husband's. If you're a teenager, it probably doesn't matter that much.
Now, if you're talking how I personally prefer to drink when I'm alone, I will probably choose bottle or can because I don't have to take out a glass and wash it afterward.

If there is an available glass, I prefer to drink it from the glass. However, if that isn't available, then I'd ask for a straw because I for one wouldn't stick my mouth into the can's opening. I read somewhere that you could acquire a disease or something. I don't know its validity though but I'd rather be safe than be sorry...hehehe

I don't like drinking out of cans. I don't drink beer so I guess I like my soda in a glass.

a soda in a can so long as it's iced cold is the best... same with a beer
i don't mind either being poured into a glass but prefer it straight from the can - don't waste any valuable time .. get it drank!

Drink it direct from the can. If you pour it into a glass the glass would probably be warmer than the drink and you would also lose some of the 'fuzziness'

I drink from the bottle or can. Unless I am in a "nice" restaurant, then I will pour into a glass.
