What the heck was up with Abby and Luca lastnight? He was being a jerk! First he refers to Abby as "his wife" when talking to the police officer, but when he went to get her at Ike's, and the guy Abby was talking to asked if Luca was her husband, Luca rudely said "We're not married". I thought he was being so snarkey with her lastnight for no reason. I know he is worried about that Mr. Ames, but that is no reason to be ugly. I hope they don't end up right back where they did a few years ago. I want them to work out and for Abby to have some happiness in her life for once. What do you think?

I think it all started with their disagreement on how to treat the alcoholics' issues (hitting his wife). Abby is an alcoholic and wanted to give the guy a chance but Luca went and called the cops anyway.

It is history. First, he is upset because he fears he will lose this family they way he lost his last family. Second, he told the policeman what he needed to get some help. He was being sincere but if he didn't phrase things the way he did it would not have happened that the police man helped him. Third, throughout history when you did not want to have harm come to you ofr your wife you tend to tell people that you are not married. Often you tell them that she is your sister. If they are up to no good then you may be able to catch them off guard. And Forth, I think he was trying to make a point to Abbey that they should be married by saying that in the bar.

Yeah, I caught those comments too. When he referred to her as his wife, I think it was just easier and more dignified to say that than "my baby's momma".
